Everyday Questions.
Guidance for Air1 ownership. No order verification is needed to read this help.
How do I refill the water correctly?
Add clean, purified water slowly through the top filling port while following your system’s refill instructions.
During initial setup, water fills the circulation system and the level may drop as the pad fills. Additional water may be needed.
Avoid overfilling the reservoir. If you’re unsure about the correct procedure, watch our setup guide.
How do I clean the water tank and cooling pad?
Regular care helps keep your system in good condition.
Use purified water and follow the cleaning instructions for your model. The removable water tank can be cleaned separately, while the water-circulating Cooling Pad requires different care.
If you notice unusual residue, discoloration, or buildup, contact our support team for guidance.
When should I replace the filter?
We recommend replacing the filter approximately every three months, depending on usage and water conditions.
Air1 and Air1 Pro use the same replacement filter.
Our Filter Pack includes four filters.
Can I wash my Cooling Pad or Cool-Touch Cover?
The Cool-Touch Cover is removable and machine washable according to its care label.
The water-circulating Cooling Pad and cooling unit are not machine washable.
Always follow the care instructions for each component.
What if my Air1 needs repair or replacement?
SAITRIO provides a 2-Year Limited Warranty for eligible purchases.
If your system develops an issue, contact our support team with your product model, order information, and a brief description of the problem.
We’ll review the issue and help determine the appropriate solution, including replacement parts or warranty service where applicable.
How often do I need to refill the water?
Water consumption varies depending on pad size, room temperature, humidity, and usage. Larger pads generally require more frequent refilling.
We recommend checking the water level before bedtime and refilling as needed.
Do SAITRIO bed cooling systems require any special maintenance?
Air1 and Air1 PRO are designed for straightforward everyday care. Regularly check the water level, use purified water, clean the removable tank as instructed, and replace the filter when needed.
Troubleshooting & Assistance
Find practical solutions to common Air1 issues. Select a topic below to get started.
If your issue persists, our support team is here to help.
01 — Power & Operation
1. My Air1 won’t turn on. What should I do?
If your Air1 doesn’t respond when you press the power button, try these steps:
- Make sure the USB-C power cable is securely connected.
- Check that you’re using a compatible 5V/2A power supply.
- Try a different compatible power adapter or USB power source.
- Disconnect the power, reconnect it, and try turning on the unit again.
If the unit still doesn’t respond, contact SAITRIO Support.
2. Why does my Air1 stop during the night?
Air1 may stop operating if the water level becomes too low or if the system encounters an operating issue.
First, check the water level indicator.
If the low-water indicator is flashing or illuminated:
- Check the water level.
- Refill as needed.
- Restart the system once the water level is restored.
If the unit stops without a low-water warning, or continues shutting down unexpectedly despite sufficient water, contact our support team.
Operating time can vary with pad size, environmental conditions, and water consumption.
3. My Air1 shuts off shortly after starting.
If your Air1 turns off within a few minutes of starting:
- Check that the water level is sufficient.
- Make sure the cooling pad and hoses are properly connected.
- Verify that you’re using a compatible 5V/2A power supply.
- Disconnect and reconnect the power, then restart the unit.
If the issue continues, stop troubleshooting and contact SAITRIO Support.
4. My Air1 only works after unplugging and reconnecting the USB cable.
If your Air1 becomes unresponsive and requires the power cable to be disconnected before it can restart:
- Check that the USB-C connection is secure.
- Verify that the power supply meets the required 5V/2A specification.
- Try another compatible power source.
Repeatedly needing to disconnect the power cable is not expected normal operation.
Please contact SAITRIO Support if the issue persists.
02 — Water Level & Refilling
5. Why does the water level drop during initial setup?
During the first setup, water flows from the reservoir into the cooling pad and circulation system.
As the pad fills, the water level in the reservoir may decrease. This is normal during initial filling.
Follow the initial setup procedure and add water as needed until the system is properly filled.
Tip: Watch our Setup Guide for the complete two-stage filling process.
6. The low-water indicator is flashing even after I refill the tank.
After refilling:
- Check that the water level has been restored.
- Make sure the unit is positioned correctly.
- Restart the system by turning it off and then on again.
Some earlier Air1 versions may turn off automatically after the water level is restored. Other versions require a manual restart.
If the warning remains after restarting, contact SAITRIO Support.
7. Why does my Air1 use more water than expected?
Air1 uses water circulation and evaporative cooling to help manage heat at your sleep surface.
Water consumption varies depending on:
- Cooling pad size.
- Room temperature and humidity.
- Operating conditions.
- Duration of use.
Larger cooling pads may require more frequent refilling.
Check the water level before bedtime and refill as needed.
If water consumption suddenly increases or you notice moisture around the system, inspect for possible leaks and contact Support.
8. How often should I refill my Air1?
There is no fixed refill interval for every environment.
Water consumption depends on pad size, room conditions, and usage.
We recommend checking the water level before each use, especially before overnight operation.
Never exceed the reservoir’s MAX fill level.
03 — Cooling Performance
9. My Air1 doesn’t feel cool enough.
Air1 uses water circulation and evaporative cooling to help reduce heat buildup at your sleep surface.
Cooling performance depends on room temperature, humidity, airflow, and other environmental conditions.
If cooling feels weaker than expected:
- Confirm that the system is powered on and operating.
- Check the water level.
- Make sure the hoses are securely connected and not kinked.
- Check that the unit’s air vents are unobstructed.
- Inspect the filter and replace it if needed.
Air1 is designed for direct sleep-surface cooling. It does not refrigerate water like Air1 Pro or replace room air conditioning.
10. My Air1 is running, but the pad doesn’t seem to be cooling.
If the unit is running but the pad doesn’t feel noticeably cooler:
- Check that the initial filling process was completed.
- Confirm that the reservoir contains sufficient water.
- Inspect the hoses for kinks or restrictions.
- Make sure the hose connections are secure.
- Allow the system time to circulate water through the pad.
If cooling performance remains unusually weak, contact SAITRIO Support.
11. Why does cooling performance change from night to night?
Air1’s evaporative cooling performance can vary with environmental conditions.
Changes in room temperature, humidity, and airflow may affect how cool the sleep surface feels.
For more consistent performance, keep the unit’s ventilation openings clear and maintain the recommended water level.
04 — Leaks & Connections
12. I noticed water leaking from my cooling pad.
Stop using the system immediately.
- Turn off the unit and disconnect the power.

13. Water is leaking near the hose connection.
If you notice water around the hose connection:
- Turn off the unit and disconnect the power.
- Check whether the connection is loose or visibly damaged.
- Make sure the hose is correctly aligned and securely connected.
- Do not force or overtighten the connector.
If the connection is damaged or leakage continues, do not operate the system.
Contact SAITRIO Support for assistance.
14. I noticed moisture beneath or around the cooling pad. Is this a leak?
Moisture may have several possible causes, including condensation or water leakage.
If you notice unexpected moisture:
- Stop using the system and disconnect the power.
- Check the cooling pad and hose connections for visible signs of leakage.
- Inspect the surrounding bedding and mattress.
Do not continue using the system until the source of the moisture has been identified.
Contact SAITRIO Support if you’re unsure whether the moisture is caused by condensation or a leak.
